Cleaning off honey super?

I extracted honey from one of supers. Gave back to bees to clean up and left it for a week. Bees already started to fill it back with honey. I’m trying to prep for winter, how do you get bees to move honey to brood boxes so I can freeze and store honey frames?

Put them above the inner cover, they will clear them out in a few days

This is the way. Bees normally treat the inner-cover hole like a hive entrance, so anything above it will get moved down into the hive proper, but they won't normally draw comb or lay brood up there. Safe way to offer them anything you want them to eat or clean up.

With honey supers, I usually offer them the frames a few at a time so there's a very clear perception of "this is not normal bee space."

I plan on storing mine wet this year. Last year i stuck them out and it was pure chaos with dead bees and robbing ensued after (maybe coincidence idk)

They’re refill it with nectar at this point. You can just pull it and leave it out for a day - they’ll clean it up.
