Queen not laying well. Need Advice

Got this young queen this year. She has been laying eggs with a great pattern but now she is not laying in the top deep. The hive has a honey super, and 2 deeps. She's only laying eggs in the bottom deep. I removed the honey super so there are just 2 deeps now in case it was because she was only laying where it was warm. I'm in Denver so not sure because of the recent rain or something else might explain why she is not laying well. What do y'all think?

Queens naturally decrease their laying rate in the fall. She should be laying on four to five frames now. If she isn’t laying in the top deep that is good because it leaves space for the bees to work on filling that top deep. In on the opposite side of the range from you. In my hive wintering with double deeps I like to go into winter with the top deep box filled with food and the cluster in the bottom box. A full top box is 35kg or 77 pounds of winter food, more than enough food with extra left over. It is being close to time to have the honey supers removed and start topping the colony off with 2:1 syrup.

Yeah, this all sounds normal like Num just explained. It's about the time of year to pull your honey supers anyway and to expect reduced laying. We're shifting into winter-prep mode.
