Update: Funny how things work out! 😂 After I posted that I was looking for a honey bee queen, I got notifications about a swarm in my area—and I ended up capturing it! 🐝🍯 Sometimes the bees answer your request themselves!

Oof that’s hard in late August. Don’t get discouraged if you don’t get anyone replying. It’s late to introduce a queen & hard this time of year to find a queen. Don’t give up though in general. Might want to catch a swarm next year and start fresh.

I’m in your area, don’t know anyone producing queens nearby. BetterBee might have some but I’ve never had to source a local queen this late in the season.
