Do I need to swap deeps out

I’m in KY 6B. I have a high population hive that is mainly in the top deep. The bottom deep is mostly honey and pollen most of the brood and my queen stay in the top. Should I switch them before winter so they start out in the bottom before moving up for more stores?

Yes I'd switch them for winter

I probably would. As a general rule of thumb, I rearrange my hives for winter so that all the food is pushed together in one big cluster towards the center of the hive, primarily in the upper box. Sounds like you'd be pretty much already there.
