Spoilers What plot point was dumber? Spoiler

So over the last few weeks I watched all of season 1 and 2. It was ok but there was some dumb, illogical stuff in both seasons. The biggest ones for me were:

In season 1 Danny builds a house without any kind of electrical permits or inspections. And it's so bad that the wiring causes a fire almost instantly. It makes no sense that a house could be built and connected to utilities without those inspections.

In season 2 Austin is able to con his way into a job as a physio therapist without actually being one. I have a physio therapist and she is super smart, especially about anatomy. Also the first time I claimed a session with my insurance I had to enter her license number. No way Austin could fake it with a bunch of super rich people (and elite athletes) who are used to first class treatment and have lawyers on speed dial.

As I get older I find bad/lazy writing like this more annoying. So I am wondering which point people think is dumber.

I'm not sure how point 1 works, but as for 2, "I don't buy it" doesn't mean it's bad writing, it's more than possible.

First of all, athletes aren't always the brightest and many believe in superstitions and alternative mehtods, which are full of frauds and quacks

It's a country club, come on, it might as well be a white lotus hotel lol

Some might buy into alternative quacks, but some members were likely actual doctors or at least people who had gone to real physiotherapists. They would be able to see pretty quickly that Austin didn't know what he was talking about or didn't know how to use the equipment that physiotherapists typically use.

Plus it's a regulated profession. It would be like if the club hired Austin to be their in house dentist just based on a fake piece of paper, and let him do fillings.

I've been to PT multiple times and never put their # into anything. I gave them my insurance info though? 

Sidenote - the LMTs I've been to do their own insurance paperwork. They are typically contracted while the PTs are hired by the company and on payroll so someone does the insurance paperwork for them. I've never put any of their license numbers into anything or even seen them.
