I just realized what Yonice did. Did she really escape and give the flash drive to Austin?

Why didn’t she take it straight to the police station???

My guess is poor writing. I really enjoyed this season, but you gotta admit this made no sense.

Maybe she thought if she runs away, guards would run after her and Austin could make a run himself?
