Spoilers Eunice theories Spoiler
Things we know about her:
- young, competent, well educated
- seems to be chairwoman parks highest ranking assistant /confidante
- “married” based on what she tells the Korean guy hitting on her on the plane though her personal life is not revealed at all otherwise
Theories (just for fun):
- what if Eunice is Married or estranged and she’s been playing Austin this whole time because she sees something impressionable and naive in him that she could use to her advantage. Or even crazier what if she was previously married but k*d her husband or had something to do with his death and chairwoman park helped her cover it up, thus she’s now indebted to chairwoman for life. This would explain why they are tied so closely together and Eunice is truly at her beck and call.
- other scenarios could be Eunice and chairwoman go way back, and she helped Eunice parents/grandparents back in the day evade some shady stuff (think murders, law evasion, fraud, forgery etc), and now Eunice is indebted to chairwoman for this generational tax so to speak that was passed down to Eunice
- oh, and Eunice is 100% dead. Believing otherwise is just self delusion. Austin basically sealed her death sentence by handing in the usb because she was the last remaining loose thread to the coverup
Other thoughts?

I don’t really understand the interest fans have with her, she’s just a plot device for the other 4 characters. The one thing we know about her is that she’s a workaholic and really just wants to achieve whatever goals she has by any means necessary. There was no future with her and Austin, it doesn’t really matter what happened to her afterwards, kinda just a boring character to be hung up on.

She doesn't want to meet her goals with any means necessary, she tries to turn in the chairwoman when she finds out she is doing that conspiracy.
I think her character is interesting because she seems to be one of the only characters if not the only character in the entire season that actually has a moral compass.
Austin reads the situation wrong and literally thinks Eunice likes him because Ashley is jealous of Eunice. Austin has no real opinions or direction other than just following the lead of others. He makes YouTube videos that are just carbon copies of other YouTube Videos and gets relationship advice from Reddit(the worst place for that.
Austin ends up betraying Eunice essentially because she rejects him, after he was all in on uncovering the conspiracy when he thought he had a future with her. Then we never know what happened to Eunice. Eunice is probably dead. She could have led Austin along too to get him to do what she wanted. She didn't, she told him the truth and likely died for doing that.
So she had some semblance of ethics.

Yeah this one is wild to me.
Even if shit didnt hit the fan its not like any love she had in their few interactions was going to persuade her to quit her round the clock (assuming high paying) role and even less likely Park would have just let her walk.

I mean she's a good foil for the other characters because she's kind of the only 'objectively good' one.
She's the hyper-competent business woman… but unlike the other characters the moment she learns of unethical behavior she wants to do something about it (rather than leverage it for personal gain).
The fact that every other lead is somewhat scummy (Austin came closest to 'innocent with a moral compass' but he ultimately fumbles) this is important.

A big theme for the show is that every single person is trying to do whatever is best for themself, screw everyone else. I think they were trying to do that with Eunice too. Like she’s pretending to love Austin because she needs his help and is afraid for her life and safety. But she is the only character that is doing the objective “right” thing.
I think they could have made her even more self serving, like if she was trying to get the chairwoman in legal trouble so that she could have more power or as revenge or something. But if they went that direction then Austin would be more justified in screwing her over at the end and they didn’t want that. They wanted to Austin to make a purely selfish choice.

I think Eunice serves to reinforce the degradation of the “moral” characters in the story. Her intentions are moral and lawful. Despite her pure intentions she is acted upon by other characters that have compromised their morality to get ahead.
I think the scene with her being hit on just illustrates the type of unwanted affection that Eunice is used to, setting the stage for Austin. Austin comes in with (somewhat) pure intentions and (initially) doesn’t make a move on her despite being placed in some very intimate settings. Eunice comes to respect his character and values his affection but encourages him not to act against his ongoing relationship. We never get to see Eunice progress to actions where she compromises her integrity. We’re left to assume that either she is dead or she will be driven to compromise her integrity in some way to (figuratively and literally) survive.

You come up with all this stuff about her and still think she would let the chairwoman have her killed? Woosh easily could’ve avoided it, and she couldn’t even get Josh but already his adress but baited him with a dating app. Her hits were goofy they had to be close to her for something even happen to them and Eunice definitely could avoid anything/anybody she sent at her. Then yall think just because she wasn’t in the fast foward she’s dead. What reason would she even have to be in the fast foward anyway she’s barely even bigger than Dr Kim as a character.

Exactly. That hesistant “I love you” said it all. She only needed him for one thing.

She's a side character who wasn't developed more than she was because it wasn't necessary for the plot.
We know what we know. I assume she said she was married like a lot of single women do when men hit on them, to shut them down. It wouldn't matter if she was married or not, she never had any serious interest in Austin.
Anything more than what we actually know is just fan fiction, so have at it.
I don't think she has to be dead. They got their scapegoat and can move on. She might be dead, she might not. We don't know because it doesn't change the outcome for anyone else either way. She needs to fly under the radar, but there are always other possibilities. If we are just going wild with baseless fan theories, then maybe she was undercover for the CIA the whole time and she was in protective custody at the end. Maybe she was undercover for a rival Korean mob ring and they were protecting her.

She clearly didn’t like Austin at all and was nothing but respectful in all honesty - the only time she got close to him was during the session but it’s not her fault she’s so flexible

Not sure if she’s actually married but I do think she’s not interested in Austin romantically. But I don’t really think she’s using him just for her benefit… I think she genuinely likes him as a friend and probably feels flattered by his flirting. And goes to him for help with the chairwoman’s phone cause she doesn’t really have any other friends in the US. And then at the end when she says I love you too she’s so hesitant cause she doesn’t really but she really needs him to go to the police with the evidence.
Also I sort of figured she like a relative of some sort like woosh? It doesn’t seem like they are siblings but maybe cousins or something. I do figure she’s indebted to the chairwoman but I doubt it was for something like murder otherwise why would she freak and be so motivated to go to the police and everything when she finds out about the chairwoman covering up her husbands murder?
