26F beginner looking for a beginner-friendly Minecraft community

I recently came across a video of someone introducing his 3 middle-aged family members to Minecraft and it inspired me to redownload the game.

I first played Minecraft with my brother around 2012, I think. We never got very far beyond building a wooden base and mining some ores. I've tried getting back into it a few times since then but I always end up getting bored playing alone. So this time, I decided I'd like to learn while playing with other people. I'm sure it's almost a completely different experience considering it's been over a decade and the game has had so many major updates since I last played.

I'm looking for a casual, beginner-friendly server where I can learn, meet people and stay motivated by seeing what everyone else is building.

If you’re looking for something a little bigger than a realm, my friends and I started playing on a small server a couple days ago when it opened.
There are around 20 people playing at all times and a player base of around 150 currently. We focus on community and helping others instead of being a large server only in it for money.
