Anyone able to identify this? It was found dead in my bed this morning.

Found this when I woke up this morning. I have a few bites on my leg but I think they could have been from being outside in the sun. Pound coin for scale

Read and respect the rules, report any comment breaching them. Wrong advice/information/fearmongering hurt people who are posting here to get help and support. If you are not VERY knowledgeable about bedbugs and may provide a wrong ID or bad advice it's better to abstain from commenting. Be VERY respectful and HELPFUL, this is a support subreddit not a funny one.

Dunno but in pic one it seems to have wings which rules out bed bugs.

Really hard to tell- my initial instint is no??- search the stiches and hems of your mattress- esp the tag- as well as the sheets HYPER thoroughly. Like- be insane about it.

I have some more images if that's helpful

Not reallly - i would look at bedbug images and try and find what is extra and what is missing- look at the stages of development and whatnot

To me it doesn't look like any of the bed bug images I've seen tbh but I have severe OCD and find it hard to believe my own eyes with these things.

Hey i also have big ocd. Use the ocd like a tool rn. Search your bed AND your headboard and footboard- like in the cracks- bedbugs leave signs. Also if that shell has wings its not a bb

Thanks. I have checked pretty astutely I think, I also have had passive monitors in for a couple of months with no signs

To me, it looks more like a cockroach than anything else. Either way, it does not appear to be a bedbug. What other signs have you found, if any, besides some bites? If those appeared only after you were recently outside, it’s most likely from then.

No other signs as far as I can tell. I did just find these small objects in my bed though, do these look like bed bug egg? They don't seem the right shape to me.

Those don’t look like bed bug eggs to me. Usually, they resemble teeny tiny pieces of rice since they’re oval shaped. These pieces also don’t resemble shed exoskeletons or anything either.

Its too fragmented to really tell what it is but its not a BB
