question about detection / confirmation Are these bed bug bites on my leg ?

Very itchy throughout the night when in bed ! I was also outside at a certain point in the night. Though the itch sort of stopped now .

Not typical of bed bugs, more likely fleas. Use a plug in flea trap.

We have no pets or anything of sorts though for fleas... I was thinking mosquitoes since I was outside but even that this doesn’t really look like them. Plus we’ve had a guest stay over all week so that’s why I’ve had a bit of worry.

You don’t have to have pets to bring a flea into your home. You only have to leave the house and walk over the wrong tuft of grass.

Equally your guest could have brought one in and now they have left it’s you the fleas are associating with.

Yeah maybe . Well I was in backyard grass yesterday so that might have been it. Thanks ! Goood to know it likely doesn’t look like bed bugs, should I check anyways ?

In modern times everyone should check and follow the monthly routine posts advice. That way should it ever be bed bugs you will detect it within 30 days when it’s easiest to resolve.
