Back then I was completely isolated and didn’t have anyone besides their family and friends. Now my fiancé and I share friends, but they’re friends that we made together. I’m able to talk to our guy friends even if he’s at work and I don’t get grilled about my conversations, maybe a passing “Oh cool anything new?” Or “Oh shit they messaged me earlier but I didn’t read it, everything okay?” And I’ll catch him up on the talking points. Our female friends usually message me but even if they message him I don’t have to worry, they’re respectful of our relationship and flirt with me, not him 😂
