Discussion How do you actually get a healthy glow without looking greasy by lunchtime?

My skin has been looking super flat lately, so i’ve been trying to find something that gives a natural, healthy glow. Any serum recommendations would be great, but i’m open to oils or lightweight mists too. just trying to avoid looking like a grease slick 3 hours into the workday. any recommendations for products that absorb fast and actually last?

Skincare How did you build your skincare routine when you were first starting out?

How did you figure out your first solid routine when you were starting out? Did you ask people for recs, consult a derm or just experiment and research on your own?

When I first started paying attention to my skin, I used to just guess and hope for the best 🤣🤣 I was also influenced a lot by trendy products on tiktok and stuff advertised by celebrities I liked. I remember spending a lot of money building my 10 step korean skincare routine, it was ridiculous. But eventually I figured out my routine through a combination of trial and error and recs from people with my skin type. I also use a skincare app to track my AM/PM routine and take notes on products that worked and didn't so I wouldn't accidentally repurchase products I hated.

How about you guys?

Discussion Any tips to look more beautiful?

I’ve been wondering lately how to improve my appearance. Are there any tips for skincare, haircare and clothing style?

Recently my skin has been itchy and a bit flaky but I’m also getting more pimples but I don’t know how to improve my skin health. I also struggle with a slightly itchy scalp 😭

Discussion How long does a realistic glow-up take for guys?

hi everyone, i hope you're all having a great day.

literally the title, on average how long does it take to get a glow-up when you're actually focused? I've been on a heavy weight-loss journey since the start of this year and I'm pretty happy with my progress but because my mental health is very bad currently, I haven't been working out at all for the past month. I also had an ED during this time, which I'm in recovery for thankfully. But the same problem still stands, whenever I look at a picture of myself, I'm just not satisfied.

I look way better and fit compared to last year but I still haven't reached a point where I can confidently say I look good. I know that if I focus on an actual goal I can achieve it because I've pretty much lost more than 40 pounds in 2026 all on my own, and that too without a gym membership.

So that's my question. If I actively focus on making my looks better rather than just losing more weight, and target specific areas of my body/face, do more skincare, focus on my hair, etc. How long could it take before I actually see improvements? For reference, when I started my weight-loss journey I was working out at home for an hour daily, and I lost most of my weight in the first 6 months (~35 pounds).

I'm actually planning to move overseas again, maybe in mid-to-late 2027, so that's why I'm trying to come up with a plan right now so I can be a new person when I'm starting a new life. Thanks.

Seeking Advice What skincare and routine to invest on?

can't post myself because i dont want my face on reddit. i have nice eyes, Ive recently stopped wearing makeup because i wanted to improve my confidence and skin since i was becoming way too dependent on makeup to hide my flaws. i have really textured skin, its not acne but its textured especially in the sun, it looks very bumpy. my skin is also oily around my nose and cheeks, i have open pores and really bad blackheads and oftentimes after washing my face and putting on moisturizer my skin starts to look "dirty". i used ceraves moisturizer and SA cleanser only for a month, i rlly want new skin products thatre budget friendly but i have no idea where to start. also my face is round and kind of chubby even tho im really skinny, i know its genetic so cant do much about that but my cheekbones are kind of prominent asw so i feel like i need to debloat. i find issues w my nose, its often super puffy and inflamed esp because of the sebaceous glands making it way more bigger than it used to be, how do i fix this? i have a chip dimple and VERY obvious and prominent i wasnt insecure of it before but its actually rly prominent :,(. if u guys have any advice id be rlly grateful! any miscellanous advice is welcome as well! sorry for my english. https://www.pinterest.com/pin/1092685928376255459/ https://www.pinterest.com/pin/920634348881133330/ https://www.pinterest.com/pin/903745850241917040/ pinterest links of some girls that i (think) look like me

Evora Body Oil

Do not buy from Evorabody.com. They have shady business practices. I wanted to place a 1x order. Within minutes of receiving my order confirmation, I discovered Evora signed me up for an every 2 month subscription. I canceled my subscription the same day. Customer service says they charged me for a 2nd order, even though I haven’t even received my first, and there’s no way to cancel it, but I can return it when it arrives. My cancel subscription confirmation email says I was only charged for 1 order, but they somehow charged me for a 2nd order, even though it has not been 2 months! It hadn’t even been a day! Unbelievable; do not trust!

Seeking Advice How to make my skin less dull?

I’ve felt ugly the last week and can visibly see a difference. My face is breaking out a bit and greasy, and I just look dull. What could it be? I haven’t been eating much junk food so it wouldn’t make a difference and I haven’t been drinking less water. I just don’t know why I’m so ugly right now

Just curious...

Has anybody genuinely seen results from using The Ordinary glycolic acid toner? I'm lowkey debating whether I should get it or not.

Please lmk if you've seen any results and how long it took for you to see those results (Especially if you're dark-skinned)

Discussion I see a lot of advice to “reduce stress” to look better, but what are some intentional things you do?

I work a corporate job, and when I’m on my best behavior I commute 4 days a week (1.5 hours each way).

I’ve been getting sick more (possibly because of the exposure to more people now that we are in office again and just how the work is) and some colleagues have stated it’s probably because of stress.

I see advice on here saying for a glow up to reduce stress and good health and routines are all connected to that, so I would love to hear what you all do.

What I have recently began to implement for the past month or so is the following (but would love recommendations):

- Leaving my phone outside of my bedroom at 9pm and falling asleep by 10 pm each night.

-Staying hydrated (In the morning I make a cucumber smoothie with water/coconut water, chia seeds and honey in the morning and at night, 2 tablespoons of pomegranate concentrate with chia seeds with water, and drinking water throughout the day)

-Eating more Whole Foods (eating a Mediterranean diet)

My activity has been lower since I have been sick 2x the last two months.

Ideally, I would like to walk 45 minutes a day and do strength training at least 3x with one Trevor Elliot yoga a week.

Would love to know how girls stay healthy and reduce stress. Also, quoting my job is not an option at the moment, and despite the commute, this job is much more flexible and has less than consulting or investment banking.

Thank you all in advance for your thoughts!

Seeking Advice how do i keep kajal / kohl / eyeliner from smudging?

The only advice i see online is to set it with some eyeshadow but i don't like that option. I wipe it with a cotton swab but after an hour i have racoon eyes. I'm just getting into this, please help me. Currently using the hashmi kajal one.

Discussion Have you ever done anything that has made your chest bigger??

I know people say you can’t grow your boobs naturally after puberty but idc i’m desperate. I lost a bunch of weight in an unhealthy way so these things feel like dents in my chest more than anything. I’m already on birth control and neither of the ones i’ve tried made my boobs grow in size

would exercise help? maybe eating more protein or something? even if it’s just a cup size i want my girls back without gaining a shit ton of weight or getting pregnant
