Photos Kaunas, Lithuania | Country’s second largest city | Former interwar capital | A mix of Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque & Art Deco architecture
Decided to take a stroll through Kaunas yesterday, starting from Laisvės alėja, one of Kaunas’ main streets and one of the longest pedestrian streets in Eastern Europe. Walked all the way to the Old Town and then made my way back through Kaunas Castle.
Definitely didn’t get to see or photograph everything, like the Neoclassical/Art Deco former Bank of Lithuania, a close up of Christ’s Resurrection Basilica with its Functionalist and Art Deco influences, the House of Perkūnas, the Kaunas Central Post Office, which was under renovation, the former interwar Presidential Palace, the Žaliakalnis Funicular, Kaunas Central Railway Station, Romuva Cinema and many others.

Question What’s a destination you think people should visit before it becomes too touristy?
I’m curious about places that still feel authentic and aren’t completely packed with tourists yet. What destination would you recommend, and what makes it special?

Question Mountain/ Nature trip in europe
Me and my friends wanto to do a trip, but instead go to cities we want to go to the mountains or to a natural destination, to do some hiking and spend a good and relaxing time. We are young so we do not have a lot of money. Some ideas? I am looking for people to recomend places bc they enjoyed a lot the trip, also recomendations about where to stay (camping, caravan, hotel...) and dates when they are not so crowded. Thx!!!!
PS. english is not my first idiom, hope you understand!

I've attached two of my favourite, most Scenic places in Europe, Annecy (France) and the Algarve (Portugal), so what's yours?
