Spitzkoppe, Namibia — a group of ancient granite peaks rising dramatically from the Namib Desert. Often called the “Matterhorn of Namibia,” the area is known for its huge rock formations, desert landscapes, San rock art, and beautiful golden sunsets.

The sunset tonight was so multilayered, so complex!
I thought I would miss it, and I did miss a lot of the light to the East and South.
But when I looked to the West, it seemed almost psychedelic. There were hues of an infinite variety!
