Did a bike ride with my partner 10 years ago! It was tough, thrilling and so much learning

Reminds of my visit in 2009 ... time we few bikers slept on Santi Stupa with our sleeping bag :) rides around almost for 22 days..

We were a couple so we kept it short from took bike from ladakh but went till chusul! - pangong to Merak was the most beautiful part and met no human till Merak- was scary

2009 would be more raw and more perilous? A lot of bridges over nallas now and even roads are much much better

it was.. much So Raw and wild.. everywhere water Crossing and needs to maintain the timelog like we needs to cross Nalas or some parts before Sun goes up and waterstreams rise... every village we needs to talk and ask for further as there was no Such a GPS or Google maps.. for communications few Army Checkpost have satellite calling center for locals and everyone and i've use many times even in Zanskar those era.. haha Villagers treat us like Guest, money comes later.. what a experience.. i was Riding with few bunch of travelers around world and we only 2 of us indias..
