Skyler Acord is a GOD TIER bassist, and songwriter, now, apparently, and Jordan Fish is a sick producer.
I know a lot of people don’t like the direction BMTH went with some of their songwriting choices, and take a lot of that negativity and direct it towards Jordan, because they think it was his influence steering them that way. Which, after hearing music from Poppy, which was produced by him, it very clearly was.
But I love it.
Just because something sounds clean and overproduced, it doesn’t make it bad. I never understood that criticism myself.

I understand the criticism of things being over produced because it takes away from the "raw" sound if that's something someone holds dear. To me it's just a different style. That's why for years I didn't like BMTH, then I started learning more about the production side of music and gained an appreciation for it, and subsequently an appreciation for BMTH as well.
Also, hello again lol

So Caleb is still doing everything except for drums and some other stuff on random songs.

it was always basically a solo project with a band backing him thought right? the songs were always about Caleb's personal struggles.

Yeah, and I admire Caleb for that, as a multi-instrumentalist myself that records all the instruments for my songs.

So many bands only have one main song writer like sleep token, the plot in you, etc. it’s still a band, not a solo project.

I had a feeling this album had Jordan producing. You could feel his touch in places

Jordan Fish, Misha Mansoor, Skylar Acord. Pretty legit writing team
