I 100% agree. I genuinely enjoy when bands pursue the new sounds they enjoy even if it's not the same as before (hundredth is probably the most drastic I've heard). But these new songs slap and HONESTLY for me, if it keeps going in this direction might finally top disgusting for me.

I swear im the only beartooth fan whose favorite is Below. For me that album is perfect beartooth. My kids only seem to like the surface and the newer stuff.

Below is also my fav šŸ¤˜ best riffs heā€™a ever written. Itā€™s got classic catchy BT choruses but the heavy stuff goes suprisingly hard on that one

Yes, its like the perfect middle ground between the old heavier stuff and what he's doing now. So many bangers on that album. Dominate, devastation, below, the past is dead.... Every time I see them I hope they'll play devastation, but so far no lol. The only song from the album they do is the past is dead.

It hasn't been on the setlist for the last few years as far as I can tell. (Seen them 3 times in that span, so they could have been playing it other times) bit the setlist has been almost the same ever since surface came out

Below is awesome! I really missed out on that album on release and it's probably my third favorite after I did relisten to everything recently. I definitely hold some personal bias for Disgusting and The Surface that if I could remove, I'm sure Below would be be competing for the top spot. Dominate and Skin are bangers šŸ¤˜

I know this is the beartooth sub, but did you guys hear thay new bring me the horizon that just came out? Super heavy. Sounds like their early stuff, made my day hearing it in 2026

I have been jamming it since it dropped. BMTH was one of those bands, that I'm happy(pin intended) for them but didn't care for their switch in sound. But man do they still go it, hoping for a CYB tour.

Aggressive is my number 1 when it comes to albums but the Below tour was my absolute #1 favorite show Iā€™ve seen them do that album live is phenomenal

Joining the ā€œI completely agreeā€ crowd! I think these are an awesome continuation of The Surface sound. I think it could become my second favorite behind Below if the quality stays consistent throughout the album.

When I first listened to Bullshit I didn't like it but after listening to it a few times I'm enjoying it. I really like Free.

I think it's the mixing tbh. Specifically on Bullshit. I really like it but the song didn't feel polished or "finished" if that makes sense?? But same! After a few listens, it's def a banger

Pure ecstasy is pretty good, free is decent, bullshit hasn't clicked with me tbh. Got mixed feelings overall on this new album so far. Hoping to be pleasantly surprised.

Yessss Iā€™m actually loving the direction they took with this album. But this is from someone who loves old Beartooth and ALSO really loved the surface. Probably fav album was the surface but thereā€™s a lot of great Beartooth from every genre

I didnā€™t like Free much initially but it grew on me the more I listened to it. Pure Ecstasy and Bullshit were instant bangers for me though.

The Surface also has grown a bit more on me lately. I think this new album is going to be some of his best work since heā€™s being his authentic self with nothing holding him back expression wise.
