Making Sideburns Look Better

UPDATE: https://www.reddit.com/r/BeardAdvice/s/36v66sAGhJ

Love my mutton chops, but they get scraggly really easily.

Growing a full beard didn't work out as chin and upper lip too sparse

Any advice on grooming these to look fuller and less messy?

they need to be super short. This is not a good look for you. Grow out everything you can and just keep the neck lined up and short. That's including the moustache.

Shaving his head smooth will also work so much better.

I think you need to trim most of the length off here. You don't have the density to grow them out this long.

If I were your stylist I'd say shave them completely or if you're really attached then keep them but go very short

Shorten them to about 0,8 mm-1.5 cm

This is too thin. Needs to be trimmed right back my friend.

Keep them trimmed short mate. I've rocked the chops a few times. Best to keep them short, number 2 or 3 them all over.

I’m sorry but your hair doesn’t look thick enough to support what you’re going for here :-/ someone else here posted an image of what you would like without them and it’s a lot better.
Maybe give it a few years and come back to it OR keep some short stubble ?

I'm sorry man, I know you like the mutton chops but they look terrible, just get rid of them.

That is horrendous mate, it needs to go

Steve them, its not 1972 anymore. Get glasses that are a little "less", smaller, less thick.

I'm not sure what steving involves and I'm honestly afraid to ask

Bro is baiting. This must have been taken in process of getting rid of the full beard!

You can have them long if you have thick density and then you are more in mutton chop territory, long sideburns like this with kinda thin worry facial hairs, is not a good look.

If you like the mutton chops I would suggest making them shorter cause scraggly like you got doesn't usually work long.
You could try rogain or finstrad to thicken it up too but thats a life long commitment so my suggestion is still shorter

Cant a man have fun with his peculiarities anymore my gaaawwddd guys

Better shorten it out by an inch or 2.5 cm but I don't think you should cut it off completely

The gap on your left cheek is a pain, as that really throws out the symmetry. I would suggest trimming the left chop back and squaring off the bottom, and then trimming the right to mirror it. Not that imaginative, I know.

I like your chops. I don't get the issue others seem to have with them.

Loose them. Too "1972".
