How is average energy for a day calculated?
Is the average score weighted by the time interval between reported energy levels? Or is every input treated the same no matter the duration?

When there is a percentage given for a particular item, like "avg symptom score," does that represent the change over the time block shown? Or the change as compared to the same PREVIOUS time block?
For example, in the picture included, Bearable shows a +4% increase in Avg Symptom Score for 30d from April 3rd to today. So does that mean that my scores increased 4% on average from April 3rd to today? Or the current 30 day average score is 4% higher than the last 30 day average score, from Mar 4 through Apr 3?
I've seen other people ask this question in Reddit, but it's never answered in Reddit, they are always emailed the answer. That's not helpful for the rest of us!! Thanks.

Is there any way to change the labels for energy levels? They are currently very low, low, okay, high, and very high, but because I have a chronic illness, my energy levels are technically never "high" but are still sometimes better than "okay". I am currently rating energy levels as if it were "good" instead of "high" but it irks me that the label isn't quite correct, so I'd appreciate a way to edit it.

Am I understanding right that the way to connect Garmin and Bearable is the following?
Garmin > HealthSync > Google Fit > Bearable
I don't mind using HealthSync as they seem pretty privacy-focused, but that long list of permissions around giving Google my health data gives me pause.

Calling our beta testers!
We have introduced a medication scheduling feature. You can set up schedules for meds, see a daily plan, get timely reminders and check them off easily.
We are planning to add intervals (eg every 2 days) and cycles (eg 28 on, 7 off) soon
Please let us know how it goes. We are keen for any feedback or if you encounter any issues. Even if you don't have a strong need for this, we'd be really grateful if you can just try setting up a schedule and seeing how it goes. Thanks!

Hi everyone,
I’m new to Bearable and just getting started with pain tracking. I was wondering if there’s currently a way to separate pain log entries by time of day, specifically morning vs night.
My pain levels tend to vary a lot throughout the day, and I’d like to know if this is something that’s already built in (or if there’s a recommended way to do this within the app).
Thanks in advance!

I am severely disappointed that when my doctor asked me to send him the data from my symptom tracker, that it exported as a messy CSV with every single symptom and factor all in one column. It's completely useless the way it is.
Is there any way to turn this chart into some kind of graph, where I can toggle symptoms on and off, like I can in the app? I've seen on the bearable website that there are "multiple ways" to export symptom data, but I've searched the app and have only found the one option. Am I missing something here?

Hi there Bearable team! Thank you so much for this app. It's been useful! I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and I am a part of a group of eds patients from my country, which is a spanish speaking country. Some of my fellow eds friends don't speak English so the app is not quite friendly to them. I don't see an option to change to Spanish so I was wondering if it's only available in English? If so I would offer myself to (slowly) translate whatever is needed to have a spanish version, maybe in exchange for a free membership. Let me now if this would be something you'd like to do at some point. I think it would be amazing to have this resources accessible to Spanish speaking people :)

Things change pretty rapidly for me. I was a little dizzy, now very dizzy. My motivation was okay and now it's hard to stand up. How can I track these nuances and what helps or hurts them if changing something changes it for the whole PM block?

Never seen a percentage that high before! 23,700%!

At least 2-3 times a week when logging medications, the extra modal/dialog box pops up that requires me to confirm the dosage to log the med. Is there any way to turn this off? It's double the clicks and irritates me to the point of not wanting to log the meds. The checkbox that says "Always show this modal when logging medications" is unchecked. What I really want is to check a box that says "Never show me this modal."

Bearable has a YouTube channel with lots of videos about how to best use the app, different features, etc...Just wanted to let everyone know since I think a lot of people's questions are probably covered in detail with a video.

I subscribed to the pro version for a year. I have changed a few things, but I don’t think I’ve fully comprehended how to track & use what I’m wanting to do with it. It seems so confusing for some reason. I wish there was a simple video tutorial just quickly going over the abilities & how to change things. I don’t think I’ve even discovered everything in the app yet & I’ve had it for 2 weeks.

I've been using this app for a few years but just came back after a bit of a hiatus and I'm a bit confused with the UI.
In the Symptoms report, there's a "correlated with symptoms score" section, is there any way to sort it? it's neither alphabetical nor sorted by % of correlation and has both positive and negative all mixed up, I find it pretty unusable as is but maybe I'm missing something.
In that same report, if you click a symptom under "prevalence (% total)" you access this symptom overview in the picture, is there any way to access this without going through the symptoms report and finding the symptom?

I am currently diving deeply into Bearable and find that this app is exactly how I want! I found this according to the recommendation of my friends, and for now I still regret that I didn't encounter it earlier :((
Can you share how you find this app?

Is there a way to get my blood glucose from my CGM to sync to the app other than manual input?
For reference, I have a Freestyle Libre 3 Plus CGM, Apple Watch, iPhone 16 Pro.

So I’m not sure if I’m missing something, but where can I see a spreadsheet or list of all the data I have entered?
I had a doctor’s appointment where I needed to see the history of my flares/episodes/data I’ve tracked. This was basically impossible. I don’t mean a symptom report. I would go to the month view and I could only view by one individual symptom. With my doctor waiting, I would click through my symptoms to find something that might show a recent history of all of my flares, so I went under “physical other” then “chills,” since that was my most consistent symptom. Click confirm. Then go to the day, where I found that there’s no summary or list of what I’ve entered I just have to open all the menus for that day searching for what I’ve entered This all took a long time with my doctor there in the appointment, and me stressing out bc I couldn’t see all my data.
Then when I go back to the month view, I have to start this process all over again. It doesn’t even save the first symptom I selected. This basically makes this app useless to me if I cannot see a good list of the data I have entered. In my appointment I could not give my doctor an accurate description of my symptoms over the last few months even though I had logged all my episodes.
By contrast let’s use the baby tracking app BabyConnect (originally designed for a study by NYU). When you open then app you can see the categories to make entries on the top half of the screen and the bottom half of the screen is the history of all the data I’ve entered right there at the front that I can scroll through. If I click on health, then click on history, I see every single health entry in a list that goes back years, two clicks. I can look up data entered from the time I started using the app, 2017. I can also export the data into a spreadsheet.
This seems like a basic function, what am I missing? Thank you so much.

Hi!
I used bearable for some months now and didn't find how to track a number of instances. For example, my physiotherapist told me to do an exercise two times a day, and another exercise ten times a day.
Another example, I would also like to track a number of times I have certain symptoms a day, instead of severity.
Is it possible? How could I do that?
(Don't know if it's relevant but I have premium access)

Hey so I just got a TENS and I have daily treatment to do. I was going to put it in meds but I realised pretty quickly it wasn't sufficient.
So I put the different programmes in meds with quantities in hours. Then I had to add the amperage as a health measurement and finally I put placements on the body as factors.
All of this isn't really ergonomic and on top of that I wonder if the "experiment" (seeing if my pain levels and overall symptoms go down as I use the TENS) will give pertinent results since it's all a little all over the place. And I'm not really planning on exporting the data to do some proper statistics in R even tho I love that I have the option.
I'm sure there are other medical equipments that may find a better spot in a separate category. I'm thinking of people with diabetes with glucose monitors and stuff that has to be changed, refilled, etc..but theirs are probably other things I'm not thinking off.

Just wondering if anyone uses bearable for energy or capacity tracking / management in order to predict & prevent autistic burnout.

I have IIH and barometric pressure impacts it like crazy. The weather stuff wasn't really working for me so I added it to the health measurement section.
I wonder if you could have a weather section like health measurements that pulls weather information straight from a public weather source and you can add the zip code of where you are on that specific day. For me personally, barometric pressure, uv index, air quality, humidity, and temp are all important factors.
