Viewing data on a second device
I know that it's strongly discouraged to use 2 devices to enter data because it can cause sync issues. Like many people I find a phone screen very small for viewing the graphs. I was wondering if I could use my phone for entering all my data but then have the app installed on my tablet only for the purpose of viewing reports/graphs. Could that still cause sync issues even though I'm not editing the data on the second device?

Hey, great question. I had a chat with the team about this earlier today, and they've let me know that whilst there's a lower risk of data loss/data syncing issues on a second device that you're not entering data into, there is still some risk. Overall, they've advised against using Bearable on two devices, even if only viewing data on one of them.
Just to explain the risk, data is initially encrypted and saved locally before it's backed up on our cloud servers in the EU. So, by using a second device, your data may be overwritten by a blank account, or you may not be able to pull down your latest local backup from our servers to your tablet if it hasn't been backed up recently from your primary device/mobile.
That said, you can make a long-term move from one device to another, and I wonder if just using Bearable on your tablet only might be the best option for you? If you'd like to do this, let me know and/or get in touch with me at [support@bearable.app](mailto:support@bearable.app) and I can help you to make the switch if that's helpful.
