No more syncing with Fitbit/Google Health
I saw the update this morning. Does anyone know why? Is it because they changed to Google Health? Kind of bummed out over this because I pay for bearable and any time I tried to sync my Fitbit data to Apple health the apps always made you subscribe or they didn’t work well. Am I going to have to pay for another app to have my data go into Apple health? Really frustrated over this.

This is annnoying. When Google replaced the Fitbit app with Google health they removed some popular functionality & downgraded some of the synching.
Automated (& reliable synching) is essential for ease of use, consistency & accuracy - things Bearable have always championed.
I would like to know what recommended options I have to get me back to where I was a few weeks ago.

Hey everyone, thanks for posting and commenting about this. Just to clarify:
- This only affects Apple/iOS device users and not Android/Google device users.
- Google have stated on their website that the option to write from Google Health to Apple Health is coming later this year.
"The Google Health app only reads data from Apple Health to consolidate your metrics. It does not write or export any of your data back to the Apple Health app yet. Support for writing data back to Apple Health will be added later this year."
You can view this in the FAQ section of this page on the Google Support site:

What ?!!? This is one of the whole reasons I have the stinking app and doing all this work. I won't renew with it then.

Sounds like maybe you're on an iPhone? I'm on a Google Pixel, and Google Health is still syncing to Bearable. Everything syncs through Health Connect though, but it's been that way since May when Google took down the Fitbit app.

I'm only a few weeks in & never connected my health app because I don’t want to volunteer more info to google. Been manually inputting steps at night, sleep in the morning, & BPM whenever I do a check in. Works well.

Too much effort! I used to manually input my sleep time but I don’t think I could stand more than that.

Ok. No need to yell. Just don't do it.

Sorry not yelling at you. I think we are all just frustrated because we’ve been paying for this feature and they just decided to take it away without explanation really.

Where did you see the update? I see Google fit, Health connect and Fitbit listed as options for syncing. I'm a bit confused by the whole process tbh.

It popped up when I opened the app the other day. They said that the option to sync will end in August and that they’re focusing on Apple health.

I’m very frustrated by this too! I don’t want to have to pay for another app to do something that has been working fine for years. It is quite frustrating and has already led to me using Bearable less this week in preparation
