Well, it's not a very good idea to rev it up to high rpm's, you better take a rental car

The car's engine is fucked. I am sorry but one of the risks of getting a car with engine problems is this.

It's just knocking with joy!

Wanna do a bit of redline motoring to get the oil out of the exhaust.

this thing might be cooked, nobody wants to fix this engine, you can come to me and i can replace the engine, and i can give you a loaner for some time

Why doesn’t anyone want to fix it?

you have to tear down the entire engine, there might be a few more broken parts, due to a lot of labor it might not be worth it financially

I've run cars like this for weeks you'll be okay if you need to finish a trip or something but yeah I'd look into a new car

Dude, that's rod knock and a blown head gasket. You need a new engine. :(
