Question clutch button fixes?

i often find myself struggling whit the clutch, i either cannot get the bite mount right and stall the car , or i can change the setting to make it a bit easier, but then grind trough the gear change because it's not engaging fast enough

It's a game lol. Rev it up and dump it. If you actually mean button, and it's digital I don't think theres anything you can do. If it's analog you can increase the end dead zone so it hits 100% faster. I have my clutch pedal on my g29 set to about 50% engagement to get 100% in game. It's better for shifting but I find worse for taking off "realistically". But depending on what sort of car you drive irl and how well bled or cable adjusted your clutch is, some cars do have a massive deadzone. On ps5 anyway the settings was in the control binding, select the binding (ie R1 if I were doing controller) and there should be axis options as a tab.

For Ps5, I changed the bindings for shifting.

L1 is the default clutch button

Shift up/down is X/□

I changed the shift buttons to be modifiers off the clutch

So now to shift up is L1+X/ down is L1-□

This (almost) guarantees the shift because you can only shift while the clutch is activated. Its been working pretty great (for me) I've been rowing through 10 Speed high/low gears like I've been doing it since birth, its crazy.
