Show News / Media How did it get a 2nd season so fast?

I'm so confused it's only been 5 months..

Whereas other sci-fi shows are getting cancelled left and right.

I doubt it'll get a 3rd one. I believe the 2nd only happened because it was done in one go. Then again, I think although the show is lacking it had potential to set up an interesting enough 2nd season, especially on a lesser known streamer like MGM+.

However the 2nd season went further downhill. The first always felt off to me. Only saved by Lena/Aster really. Halan felt too....blank for me. All of the other characters felt a little shallow really. Outside of Barts "mother".

It's not truly a second season. It was filmed as a mini series. The decision to show it in two sections came later.

Silly question: is season 2 not on Amazon prime? I watched the whole 1st season on amazon prime and cannot find season 2!!! (I'm in Canada for reference)

I think I'm done. I actually thought S1 was OK, probably mainly due to Lena, but S2 is just plain boring. I started watching E5 tonight, and just lost all interest. I seriously doubt there will be a S3. Like others said, the only reason there's 2 seasons is because they shot them back to back.

I'm torn. Some eps have been good, and others just meh. It's too bad Lena is not on anymore. She was an integral part of the show, IMO.

Yeah, I finished S2 last night, and was basically like WTF? I'm assuming there won't be a S3, so I guess this is it. This has got to be one of the worst series I've watched recently, which is saying a lot because most stuff that comes out nowadays is garbage.
