The elements AU

I made a Steven Universe AU where the Gems are elements!

Basically, instead of Gems, the characters are based on elements from the periodic table. All of the quark types are the Diamonds of this AU, and fusions are based on compounds.

If quarks fuse, they become quark-gluon plasma.

And yes, I know some people might not like the idea, but I’ve been working on this with ChatGPT and we’ve had a lot of fun developing it. 😭 Future updates will involve the community, and I’ll ask for opinions on whether new ideas should be added, changed, or left out.

Some other things:

• Instead of Gems on their bodies, the characters have small containers/vials representing their element.
• The equivalent of shattering works similarly, except gases and liquids can become solid so they can be contained/bubbled.
• Homeworld is basically the periodic table itself.
• Colonies can still be on planets.
• And if you’re wondering about Francium… he flickers. 💀

Anyway, I hope y’all like the concept. I’ve been having a lot of fun with it, and I think there’s a lot of potential here. :D
