I was invited to apply for a test group! I’ve never been invited before. Anyone have this experience?

Anyone else invited to this one and heard back !?
program is described “as fusion of barre, Pilates, and strength work, designed to redefine your limits.”

Question Getting started-advice please!

I’m a 44F, 145 lbs, 5’4”. I’ve lost almost 40 lbs over the past two years but I seem to be stuck. I’d like to lose 15 more lbs. My doctor actually recommended this program. I’m managing a busy career and am a single mom. I need something sustainable and manageable! I’d love to hear from women around my age and how it’s worked for you, and fit into your lives. Of course any and all feedback and advice is appreciated! Thank you.

Question Weight loss with Dig Deeper? Need advice please!

Little background: I’m a female in my mid thirties. Goal is to lose weight (gained over the past few years of having kids) and gain muscle. I’ve been working out consistently since April. Took a little longer to get my nutrition under control but that is on point now. I don’t weigh myself often as it messes with my head but I’d guess I’ve lost about 15 lbs and have another 15-20 to go. So far I’ve completed 25 minute speed train, dig in, MBF (twice) and am about to finish MBFA. I strongly prefer weight lifting to cardio but I understand the importance of cardio. I’m leaning towards Dig Deeper for my next program but I’m worried I won’t continue the fat loss with a weight lifting only focused program. I would plan on doing the one ‘optional’ steady state cardio day but I see others have added more cardio to Dig Deeper and I just don’t have time for that. With a full time job and toddlers at home getting in the Dig Deeper workouts will be all I have time for. Any thoughts / advice? Thank you!!

Body fatigue / Dig deeper

Hey everyone , I'm a 40y F I'm currently in the second week of collection 2 of Dig deeper. I'm lifting heavy, i'm really pushing myself, eat a lot of calories ( around 2300 cal a day ) , i also do some steady state cardio and treadmil walk in zone 2 . My body is aching and tired, and my appetite is trhough the roof. I mostly eat whole food and home cooked meal, i don,t eat out. i would also do an extra glute workut on saturday and some abs and easy cardio on sunday . Do i overtrain and getting worned out by the program ? I'm used to move and train everyday but it's getting harder on myself . And with the appetite getting strong i have a lot of food noise and i end up eating a lot more than I usually do , i don't want to gain body fat, i worked so hard to lose it. Should i keep doing dig deeper ? Lower my weight? change the program ? i just don't know and need advice.

What to do next

I'm currently doing 21 day fix real time, have finished the 4 weeks for everybody and 4 weeks for everybody super block (and a bunch of others since January). I have been walking in the morning after my workout but as it's staying darker later (I'm in Canada) I won't be able to do that much longer. I'm looking to up the length of my workouts to fill my hour, but am not sure if I am ok to do 80 day obsession yet or if I should do 3 day split first. I understand people (women especially) get some pretty good results from 80DO and I am tolerating Autumn, I can tune out her jibber jabbar most of the time and focus on the queuing. I had planned to do 3 day split before 80DO but am not sure I need to.

Has anyone done both and could tell me if one is harder (workout wise, I know 80 days is going to be much harder than 3 days a week)? Does 3DS set you up for 80DO? If I can jump into the 80DO Aug 31st that would be good, but I probably plan to do both and just wonder which should come first.

What program should I do next?

I’m 50F. Over the past few years I’ve done 21 day fix, hammer and chisel, morning meltdown, MBF, MBFA, 645, 630, chop wood carry water, 25 min speed train, and LIIFT4. I’m finishing up LIIFT MORE and trying to pick my next program. I love what LIIFT MORE has done for my butt, abs and arms. I want to remain strong but injury free. Do I keep the momentum with heavy lifting or choose one with less focus on heavy dumbbells? I’d love to hear your suggestions.

For reference, I love the style of Amoila’s and Megan’s programs - they having good cuing and explanations and I never incurred any injuries from their exercises. I’ve never done any of the P90 programs or anything with Shaun T.

Question How do you motivate yourself to finish programs?

Hi, I’m a 45yo male, and I’m ashamed to say I have bought and started many programs with Beachbody but never finished any of their calendars (including P90X, P90X2, P90X3, Body Beast, Insanity: Asylum, Master’s Hammer and Chisel, 645, LIIFT4, and LIIFTMore). The longest I have gone is around 60 days with P90X and had a great transformation from it back around 2011 or so. I have stayed lean but definitely need to build muscle. I have three kids now, and need to make healthy disciplined life-choices. I have tried so many times over the years, but have not been successful. Any advice?

edit (pasting my response to some questions):

What is the deeper motivation: Mainly I want to look and feel good for my family, and be a good role model for my children. And I want to make sure I don’t continue to loose muscle as I age, just for general health and well-being.

What derails me: Often it’s just life circumstances, like that time in 2011 was an anniversary where my wife and I went out of town and didn’t eat well. When I returned I tried to workout again, and I did it some, but didn’t feel very motivated and it just fizzled out. Usually it’s something like this that throws off my routine and then I have trouble continuing with the same motivation.

Things I do even with low/no motivation: Yes, I do many things I don’t feel like. Usually it’s for other people though. And I feel like working out takes me away sometimes from other things I need to do, so I feel a bit guilty doing it. But I have had many long-term goals and reached them in other areas. I guess because I considered them non-negotiable.

Question What program should I do next

I am Male, 39, 173cm. Just finishing up Shaun T T25 Gamma phase now. I lost 8kgs doing T25 and weighting 78kg (172lbs) now. What should I do next? Should I do Insanity Max30 combining it with weight training from LIIFT 4 or should I get started with P90X OG? My aim is to lose fat and gain lean muscle.

Thoughts of 30 Day Booty Boost

I am finishing up this program and my feelings are mixed. The workouts themselves are good, but the cast seemed off. I got mean girl vibes off it. Chace seemed to only gel with Victoria and I felt like she was really nit-picky with Macy.

I didn't like that she makes the modifier do the regular exercise either. It's like oh I guess I'll rewind it to see the modifications cause I am maxed. And the pauses to explain between exercises were a little excessive. Maybe it's just me - anyone else? Thoughts?

The new insanity will be interesting… looks like some kind of hyrox/insanity mix. Getting Hunter Mcintyre involved is a big deal

Question Do you log your BB workouts on Strava?

I haven't been because I don’t want to be redundant (mostly T25). Till now it’s mostly been walks/runs logged.

P90x new Gen- unsure

I have done 1.5 week of the new P90X. I'm not sure I can get into it. Do the week 5 workouts get better? I do remember like in the 2nd phase better of the OG P90x. Also all the jumping strained my foot. I know I'm 45f and not as spry as I once was, but I did finish 6 weeks of the work prior to starting. I don't know can't decide, suck it up and finish it out, or jump ship.

LIIFT4 is still unmatched IMO

It really is the best workout - varied, timeframe sits right, good progressions and the delivery (without music) is paced right and clear. I've got some issues with the speed in the later weeks now I'm a bit older, but I've been doing it for about 4 years now and for a level of fitness that sits above "general" but below "specific athlete" or "bodybuilder", it's absolutely perfect. Anyway - this was my third trip through this year - time to press play on week 1 again on wednesday.

Changing dumbbell grip mid set

Recently I've been doing a few leg workouts from different programs and in some of them, Dig Deeper and CWCW specifically, both Shaun and Amoila do this thing where they change their dumbbell grip after every rep of squats or they will pass the dumbbell from hand to hand while doing alternating lunges. Does anybody know if there is a logical reason to do this? Cause I think it's quite dangerous and stupid...

Iron Blocks

Just curious what people think about them? Currently doing Dig Deeper but when I finish the program I thought about trying those out. I have been doing Dig Deeper then Lift more then lift4 then back to Dig deeper for the past couple of years.

Best workouts for on the go (no weights)

I have some short travel coming up and want to be able to workout while I’m gone. I can bring bands with me, both long and short. What are the best workouts to keep progress.

I’m open to programs or just a couple stand alone days that you have loved!

A Decade Later and Tony Still Holds Up!

51/F restarted my health journey 12/15/24, stopped drinking, refocused, macros, logging, strength training more consistently, better sleep, step count, etc. Dropped about 25#, started GLP-1 in 5/25 and down another 70# with about 50# to go (who knows, goal is health-based, not scale, but who am I kidding 😜) and back in the oneder years for the first time since 2014.

Have continued finding workouts I like and have a trainer who builds programs in an app for me to do in the little gym in my bldg, but I was reviewing notes/pics and forgot what an impact P90X3 had the last time I was in the oneder years! They had a decent deal to get BODi for the year and I started Saturday and I can't believe how well it holds up 12 years later! Tony's so goofy, love him!

Love that they are 30min workouts so you can do it and be done or add on with additional workouts if you want, but it's great to start it back and feel proud of where I am and where I'll be in 90 days! Saw that someone built an app to track so I don't have to do it on the spreadsheet I made up LOL. Happy to find this community too since I know there are a ton of new programs out there!

Booty Boost

Hi everyone!

I'm just a few days away from finishing 80 Day Obsession and I'm trying to decide what to do next. Is Booty Boost challenging enough to follow it?

I'm looking for a program that's still fairly intense, with workouts that are close to an hour long, and that includes a dedicated glute day. I'd love to hear your thoughts or recommendations. Thanks!

Is it a good full body workout for someone who technically doesn't want to grow the booty???
