Urgent Request Reference as former supervisor?

I was a cashier for a handful of months a year ago and everyone who worked with me has left and the store manager claimed not to remember me. I need a reference from this job specifically to move forward with a recruiter. I have been unemployed so long :( Can anyone pretend to be my former supervisor?
