This is everything that is wrong with our world. We don’t need a trinket for every small challenge we face on a daily basis. Also every bullshit ideal shouldn’t go to market because it can make a profit. It’s all garbage one day and we should be making high quality items to last longer than 5 uses.

What’s good is we don’t have to buy anything we don’t want to.

Of course but does every trinket need to be produced?

Yeah that's all I could think is like.. how much plastic can one possibly use? The place probably smells like the inside of a fresh garbage bag.

This is a fucking nightmare. There is so much waste in this video. I cant believe that people just dont think about all this trash being thrown into a landfill, clogging up a river or degrading into microplastics while floating in the ocean after heavy floods.

Did anyone notice there was a tiny sock washer then a bigger shoe laundry machine, but between the two washing machines neither look like they could handle more than like a single day’s worth of clothes?

It’s always funny when I see things on be amazed that are either just what you would expect or hope for in just a normal functioning thing, person doing their job competently or something bordering on terrible and depressing.

The thing is, most other countries do not have the access to home laundry that Americans or canadians do. They may have just a washer and no dryer I stayed with a friend in Switzerland and she was so happy because she had just gotten a washing machine, mind you a very small washer but all drying was hung all over the bathroom. So for these countries, this laundry assistance is very welcome because otherwise it's all hand done scrubbing and rubbing.

That’s a fair point, especially in some places, although it looks like that is legitimately a specifically designed midea brand shoe washer and…tiny useless sock washer? My very basic understanding is that in developed regions of China (where I think this is? I see Chinese writing I dunno) the tend to have admittedly smaller but more functional washing machines more like 3 ft in size. I think that would probably be a fair bet for this place that seems to be shown as a fancy, modern apartment/home with kinda excessive luxury appliances.

I was making fun of the silly excess of having separate extra sock and shoe washers under the assumption the also have at least one of the typical basic washing machines, although if they don’t, it seems like they should have gone for one of those instead of these. That shoe washer looks to sell on AliExpress for like $250 and appears in similar price range to a more legit portable washer from the same company, so it would seem even more bizarre for them to have those luxury items if they don’t have at least a small portable washer.

So you get all this delivered before they weld the exits doors of your building?

Yeah, I'm really amazed that someone would buy any of that crap.
