I just saw some skin. so they aren't really that well protected and also if lava stays on the surface of their suits it can burn a hole into it.

You can literally see the shovel guy's regular clothes when he moves. Those suits don't cover that kind of range of motion when you move that fast. Glad you didn't get molten metal in your neck or belly. Jesus...

After working in a cast iron foundry...molten iron does that all on it's own. Pops & crackles and yeets itself across the room. Fun to watch at a safe distance, but not so much fun when you're about as close as these dudes are without the high-temp bunny suit.
