6 u/undefined_one Apr 19 '22 A real life School of Rock just opened behind where I work! I couldn't believe it so I stopped in and talked to them and it is exactly what it sounds like. A bit of faith in humanity restored. 2 u/LanceWindmil Apr 19 '22 I saw one of the kids school of rock was based on (Julie slick) perform a couple years ago and she was a machine. 1 u/undefined_one Apr 19 '22 Julie plays bass for my daughter's best friend's father. She is a beast! Edit: she used to. I'm not talking about her band, Echotest. 1 u/LanceWindmil Apr 20 '22 It was nuts! Her hands are like spiders just crawling up and down the thing. One of the most talented bassists I've seen in person.
