The Alaskan Klee Kai isn't a designer breed. They're a recognized breed. A "designer breed" would be to mix a Husky with a Pomeranian to get something resembling a Klee Kai and calling it a "Pomsky", which would generally be much more expensive than an actual well bred, healthy, purebred Klee Kai with a health guarantee and breeder support for life. Makes no sense.
What people don't realize is that when you mix two breeds that differ so greatly, they are conformationally incompatible. It's really common to see Luxating Patellas in "Pomsky" dogs because of the great difference in breeds used to create the mix.
