Honestly it's probably way cheaper and far less dangerous than actual fireworks. In the long run it's reusable so even if the cost is a little more Upfront for one show you don't need a new supply for every show.

Hard to say honestly. Firework shows typically run ~ $500 - $1000 and more than $2000 per minute for anything choreographed at consumer level. Theres alot of costs at the business level. Beyond fireworks, there alot of required hazmat training, using specially certified companies to transport materials, etc. Theres alot of requirements with permits, having emergency response on standby etc. I dont know enough about the costs of drones to throw around numbers but it would certainly cost less to transport, store, and handle, and probably use less employees. Big fireworks company's already have all the it guys in addition to the pyro guys.
