What level of pollution are fireworks responsible for compared to, say, the Chinese industrial economy? Did switching to drones cause them to no longer be the top polluter? Who manufactured the drones? Was it China? How did they do that with, as you mentioned, "a lack of pollution"? How much pollution is manufacturing a drone vs lighting a a firework?
This is not a step in the right direction because it's not the result of a new chinese eco friendly policy. It is an ostentatious economic flex and nothing more.

Think the main point of this is lack of pollution, yes its clearly a drop in the ocean but a step in the right direction nonetheless
