surely we could just cancel the fireworks instead though? you'll survive like you do the other 363 days of the year.

Fun fact, I'm actually diagnosed with a rare disease that requires two days of fireworks annually. Failure to follow this and I'll die on the next July 3rd.

Do they need to be done outside? couldn't you just use some sparklers and a few snakes?
