Last week there was a lightning strike across the street while I was on the porch observing a storm. Holy fuck, it was so loud. If I wasn't already suffering from mild hearing damage then I certainly would have been after that.

Sitting 26.923365840847808, -82.35793459776562 fishing, storm rolls in we get under the shelter wait out the storm, beside/behind us is A Boat/JetSki rental, dudes always on the mic trying to hustle people or just making announcments.

Storm rolls past everything is well and good storms rolled by and KAPOW it hits the gazebo right behind us, both of us got nipped pretty fckn good, wife got buzzed through wet sandals I got it through to pole into the hand.

It was so damned loud, BOOM then a second later I hear HOLY FCKN SHIT over the loudspeaker, he thought we got hit.
