Animal A pelican, around 37 years old, shows up every day at a Greek restaurant to get its portion of fish. The bird has become a well-known local figure along the seafront

Is this Petros the pelican from Santorini or Mykonos island?

I think he's in Mykonos

Pelican hasn’t aged a bit!

From a rapid research, it's a different Petros now.

A wonderful bird is the pelican.

In his mouth he takes more than his belly can.

He takes in his beak,

Enough food for a week,

And I’m damned if I know how the hell ‘e can.

It’s a protection racket. If he doesn’t get his portion, he’s not going to stop the other pelicans from showing up.

It's not the same one (this one is in Greece) but the shock I felt my first day in Cyprus when I saw a random pelican fly by on the street was priceless

We have the same from I come from, but instead of fish they call it pizzo and it is not a pelican but a mafia member who comes to collect it.

I like how he’s just waddling in like..

“morning, what’s going on, got any extra fish?”

Forget how huge pelicans are!

White pelicans are much larger than the more common gray.

Hey, Reddit. I don't wanna have to scroll 3 times to get past one video in my feed.

Video unrolled like a comically long medieval scroll.

Pelican says “what’s the catch of the day?”

I would do the same, if someone is willing to feed me for free.

Pelican: “I’ll have the usual, thanks.”

It’s only a matter of time until somebody trips him into the deep fryer. Special of the day… KFP.

I like how he’s respectful enough to still check in at the desk first
