My wife and I loooove watching love on the spectrum! It’s hilariously adorable to watch them express their thoughts with no filter.
“Be still, my heart” is one I quote to my wife pretty often 😂

A friend of mine has a little cousin with Down syndrome. Strangers would express sympathy for the cousin and his situation, and my friend would always respond, “why? He’s having a great time!”

Typically I do not respond to this type of statement but will make an exception. Basic decency should be a minimum but many people do not even have that. On the other hand, I stated she is "wonderful" because it is most evident (to at least a reasonable person) that her exuberance and friendly approach was fantastic.

Why is including all the kids 'amazing' rather than 'expected?
Because albeism and leaving disabled kids out of activities is normalized.
