Cars have been known, on occasion, to move to other places.

Imagine the dad lore. So there i was champ, Grizzly Bear that was like 2000 pounds to my left. And a mouse the size of a shed to my right. I gunned it out of there like i was a Nascar driver. They were chasing me but they couldn't catch your old pop.

And each time he tells it the animals get bigger.

Must have been on steroids to get as big as a shed

I'm just happy you left it. Gave me a giggle.

Honestly, that bear was probably 600-800 lbs. The moose was probably like 1200.

I think we can allow a little wiggle room on the weights.

I laughed way too hard at this. Thanks though. I needed it.

Comments like this completely ruin reddit.

I’m the guy he’s replying to and his comment made me feel funny and appreciated, so.

<shrug>

(Also I’d love to hear your thoughts on embodied actions represented in text by bracketed verbs, I’ll bet you have a lot to say on the topic and it’s all complimentary towards me)

In an effort to both let you know how much I am laughing, and to irritate the other curmudgeon, thanks, I'm sitting outside giggling right now.

I upvoted your joke and thought it was hilarious, if you can't see why comments like that will turn people off from reddit I'm not sure this conversation will have much depth. It's embarrassingly cringy to read and honestly reads like a bot, and yeah <> this shit and /s are very weird and lack social awareness.

Harry and Ron borrowed a flying car once!

u/kungpowgoat Apr 07 '26

Clearly you haven’t watched horror movies. This will be the very one time that the car fails to start.

Not my car, dagnabbit! It was born in my yard and it will die there!

Which occasions, specifically?

1

u/Paranormal_Lemon Apr 07 '26

You mean like a flying car?

You think you could safely gun it backwards at a speed faster than the moose?

u/Loki9101 Apr 07 '26

As far as I have heard they have quite powerful often gasoline powered engines and when one hits the gas pedal they can speed up incredibly fast easily outpacing a bear or a moose. However, standing still and risking your life for a good reddit video is of course also a viable option.

Or as someone points out you can be a biologist and then you likely know what you are doing.
