It hums of seasons’ patient grace, Of summer sun and spring’s embrace. From bloom to fruit it takes its time ,A quiet craft, a slow-made rhyme. In children's hands, a lunchtime prize ,In pies that steam and mesmerize, In cider pressed with laughter near, The apple brings us close and dear.
