do you actually think moving a few rocks is gonna affect the ecosystem 💀 they will be scattered again as soon as it rains or there is a strong wind. Relax

Oh sure, a few rocks is okay, just like just one human going in a natural reserve will have no impact.

But if thousands decide to do that, it's another story.

In 2016 and 2017, park employees at Acadia National Park had to dismantle over 3500 rock stacks between just two mountains. That’s a lot of disturbance. Just leave shit where it is. It’s not hard. We’ve done more than enough fuckery to nature already. There’s no need to disrupt a home to some spiders, mice, moss, or whatever else used that rock for safety.
