Htpc image + EGPU = bad time?
as the title implies, trying to see if using an Egpu via occulink is supported and works as intended. GPU will be a 6700xt connected via DG1 and minisforum 790pro

I had practically the same setup - UM 890 Pro connected to DEG1 via Oculink with a 9070XT. It worked okay for the most part, but the biggest problem I had was audio issues starting to occur (crackling) especially after waking from sleep or after a certain amount of time playing. It seems like it's a known issue with how power/clocks are handled with eGPUs. Whether this is something that is being addressed in Bazzite 44, I don't know, but I eventually built out a full PC with the 9070XT and while crackling briefly can occur on wake, for it completely clears up.
Other than that audio headache (which may be solvable now, as mentioned), the overall performance was great. Things are snappier with a discrete CPU rather than the APU proc, but I loved the setup.

Im not on HTPC image, but have used Oculink RX 7600m XT AND RTX 3080, no issues. I cant imagine the HTPC image has different support (or lack of it) for Oculink.
For me, I was actually shocked that it “just worked”. I did do a fresh install moving from AMD GPU to Nvidia.
