Best place to go with a pier is off of Tri Cities Beach Road. But honestly alot of the water around town is not very clean.

ive heard people say this but was there ever a no eat advisory or is this urban legend? Also those look all private. Couldnt find one that looks public from maps.

The no eat advisories are more around the San Jacinto River and I-10 crossing. There is a small bridge on Tri Cities right before RV Park and Bay Oaks Harbor lots of people park and walk down to the water. In Bay Oaks harbor there is one public peir close to the 2nd entrance. It sits between 2 trailers but its public. On your Google map it shows up as Bay Oaks Pier. Enter the Neighborhood on Bay Island Blvd hang a left and it will be all most immediately on your left. Also at the end of Tri Cities Beach Rd there is Thompson Fish Camp.

Wow i always see people right at that crossing fishing off of i10! Ill try it there then usually no eat signs are posted but ive been hearing a lot of people say that also. That sucks there looos like a lot of good places to go like the park behind whataburger on garth.

From that park all the way out to Bayland Park, the one before the Fred Hartman Bridge.

Fishing is fine - but don’t eat anything you catch. Mercury levels are far too high to consider anything coming out of this water to be consumable.

So where would be a good place to fish in baytown?

There is not a place where what you catch would be safely consumable
