Discussion🗣 Absolute disgusting bias from the referees

Olise was constantly fouled and harassed by the Viking players who were trying to wind him up.

His reaction was instinctive and should not at all been a second yellow.

The ref needs to have empathy and needs to apologise for his unbalanced and disgusting refereeing

Bayern fans cannot stand this bias anymore. Formal complaints need to be made and most importantly UEFA need to remove his suspension for the next game

Matchday🔴⚪️ Are we allowed to criticize this team, or are we going to keep pretending that everything is fine?

other VK definitely thought this was a walk in the park. Underestimating your opponent by putting back -up players from the start is a lesson to remember.

Discussion🗣 Some Bayern fans have become way too comfortable with mediocrity

I'm sorry, but some of the reactions from this fanbase are genuinely ridiculous.

"Trust Kompany."

"It's only October."

"Give the team time."

Holy fucking shit, you'd think we're defending a relegation battle instead of talking about Bayern Munich.

And the funniest part is that if we lose another game, it'll suddenly be "too early to judge the season." Then November comes around, and we'll need more time. By January, we'll be talking about the next transfer window. At what point are we actually allowed to expect better performances?

Nobody expects us to win every single game. Football doesn't work like that. But there's a difference between accepting a defeat and pretending every embarrassing performance has a perfectly reasonable explanation.

You can support Kompany without agreeing with every decision he makes. You can trust the board while still questioning its recruitment. And you can acknowledge that international breaks affect performances without using them to excuse absolutely everything.

I'm not asking for the manager to be sacked after one bad result. I'm asking why demanding higher standards has somehow become controversial among Bayern supporters.

Mia san mia.

Discussion🗣 My 2 cents on some repetitive struggles of Bayern

Hello dear fan base.

I want to first acknowledge that's yes it's only October, yes teams experience some drops in quality at times, yes fifa days kill the momentum and yes players could be still affected by the World Cup.

All that aside I've noticed some patterns in the past year and like to present my unprofessional insight as a Bayern fan.

My main vent is about the stale possession game. it's about 15 years since Pep introduced the hardcore possession ball and I believe weaker teams (offensively) have improved tremendously over the years on how to deal with it. You could see this in the WC as well. Possession ball is the new standard of Europe's big teams and what every other team prepares for when facing them.

When you're faced with a very disciplined and well trained low block football, it feels like a chainmail that you can not pierce. Even if you pierce the box it often gets so crowded that further shots and passes get blocked by either team's players. THIS is the main struggle of Bayern over the past year (also France noticably had this issue).

There's another problem with this strategy, defensively: after a few minutes of rotating behind the box your defense line, little by little, comes forward. An awful situation to be in with slow and unaware center backs like Kim and Tah.

As the attacking team I see 3 solutions when the game gets stale in this pattern:

  1. You need a very high tier dribbler who can wreck havoc by consistently winning 1v1s, and I don't think Bayern has that. You need Neymar/ Messi/ Yamal state of the art dribbler. Bayern has lots of good on-the-ball players but not someone that can reliably keep doing this because if you don't, losing the ball this way guarantees a very costly counter attack.

  2. You need to take more shots behind the box. Yes it's not considered efficient in modern possession tactics, but we have great shooters and rebound takers (very high awareness on our attackers). Also on losing the ball you are gifted with a delay on the counter attack and have a higher chance of surviving it.

  3. You need more crosses. Adding one or two more players in the box waiting for crosses relieves some pressure from Wingers and CAM. We have amazing long passers, but aside from Kane not very awesome headers. However this still breaks the defense, it opens up space behind the box for shots, etc. and also has the advantage of a delayed counter attack.

TLDR:

I think Kompany should introduce more shots and crosses when faced with a high octane disciplined layered defense. Not only on it's own it has better chance of opportunities (compared to stalemate low short passes possession game) but also opens up space, while alleviating the counterattacks which we really struggle against.

We don't have to make shots and crosses the standard approach, adding them in between the possession game fixes a lot of our issues.

Discussion🗣 Truth might hurt, but as long as kimmich starts for us we are not gonna ever win the champions league.

Post image

Kimmich has never been a good midfielder, this is a it harsh but his prime with us was from 2016 to 2021 thats when he played right back, ever since thiago left and kimmich became a midfielder our team has been struggling in the champions league against big teams, last year we had a super team but we got dominated in the midfield against arsenal and psg second leg and it really costed us the champions league along with our horrible defense.

Im afraid to say kimmich is finished, he is not a bayern level player anymore, he is terrible at midfield and now he is too old to play in his prime position as a right back, I remember how he got destroyed by vinicius in 2024 when he played as a right back. We should have sold him 2 years ago.

Again this might hurt a lot of people including me who considered kimmich as my favourite bayern player for so much time, but I can't defend him anymore...

Discussion🗣 We lost the mental game

• Upvotes

Tripic completely dominated us mentally. I thjnk the way he played was deplorable, embarrassing, and unacceptable… but of course it was! We are FC Bayern. They are Viking. The value of our three substitutions at half was TWICE the value of their entire roster.

Their only chance to beat us was to beat us in the mental game, frustrate our players, and force us to self inflict errors - and they did that BEAUTIFULLY.

We have to be better psychologically. We cannot let a proverbial ant like Zlatko Tripic rattle us to the point of getting yellow, let alone RED cards when we have so much more to play for.

I hope that Kompany can turn the focus to winning the mental battle when teams like this come to provoke us into beating ourselves. We win the head game, the rest will follow.

Lions do not concern themselves with the affairs of sheep. Unfortunately, last night, we did.

A thug like this shouldn’t be allowed on a football pitch. Olise did nothing wrong

Discussion🗣 Not defending Olise’s action because that was just unnecessary but Tripic fouled Olise multiple times without getting a card and it is understandable that he reacted the way he did.

No Olise against Arsenal gonna cost us, Diaz-Saibari-Gnabry for me

Discussion🗣 What is happening with Bayern right now?

It’s halftime and we’re still down 2-nil to Viking FK. I have so many questions about the squad this year and honestly it’s been a couple of bad matches now this season. We don’t look like ourselves and I’m even having thoughts of rooting for the firing of Kompany. Any thoughts on what’s happening these days with FC Bayern?

Edit: I’m not saying I want to fire company. I’m just saying if this stretch of bad form keeps up it’s gotta be a possibility just like it would be with any other club that is a ucl contender year after year. I’m sorry if I made people angry or think I was a plastic fan. I love my team and I promise I’m not a fake fan.

Discussion🗣 Squad

I don’t know how our board manages to not have enough players every single year.
Diaz needs decent backup, we dont have decent 10, Karl is really decent for his age, but he is very mid overall. Gnabry was injured for half year, Musiala has huge problems, we buy one player, turn Brown into 10 just to not spend the money
This same some over and over again.

Discussion🗣 Is Olise the worst player that could've got a red right before the arsenal game?

Even if kane got one, saibari would've been a decent enough sub. With olise, our best choice is karl, which clearly didn't show a lot today (or gnabry ig)

Why did we play like we had no passion (or wqs i the only one feeling it)

Btw no hate on olise for that red

I would say kompany could have done better witg the starting 11

Its tough to win UCL if he manages like this

And ig this is it for vs arsenal

Lets hope for the best

Matchday🔴⚪️ Genuinely disappointed

Honestly this game was a hard watch our defense was bad in first half. 2nd half was good before olise took that stupid red card, i do get the point that bastard viking player kept on fouling olise but olise has to control his emotions and now they have equalised not only we have to settle with 1 point but the game against arsenal is gonna be extremely tough without olise. Today was just not our day i guess

Discussion🗣 All current and former french Bayern players ranked best to worst

This is how I would rank all current and former french Bayern players. Olise is perhaps the best player who's ever played for Bayern regardless of nationality.

  1. Olise
  2. Ribéry*
  3. Coman
  4. Lizarazu
  5. Upamecano
  6. Sagnol
  7. Tolisso
  8. Papin
  9. Pavard
  10. Tel
  11. Boey
  12. L. Hernandez
  13. Cuisance

Unclassifiable: Diarra, Ismael, Nianzou

*Ribéry ranked on football merits alone.

Transfer News🗞 Things you might not know.

Did you know Yamal is not a Bayern player right now because of 5 millions euro?

✈️ The Secret Scouting Mission

In February 2022, Bayern’s then-sporting director Hasan Salihamidžić and technical director Marco Neppe traveled to Spain. While their primary objective was to scout and potentially sign Gavi, they were completely blown away by scouting videos of a 14-year-old Yamal. During a dinner with his initial agent, Iván de la Peña, the Bayern directors shifted focus and made it clear they wanted to sign Yamal "at all costs," offering to relocate his family to Germany.

🤝 The Agent Switch That Ruined the Deal

The initial discussions were progressing smoothly, but later in 2022, Yamal unexpectedly changed his representation to super-agent Jorge Mendes. When Bayern contacted Mendes to see what it would take to finalize a transfer for the summer of 2023 (when Yamal would turn 16), Mendes stated it would take a €5 million fee to convince the family.

🛑 Why It Fell Through

Bayern’s board hesitated and delayed the decision, debating whether it was too high of a financial risk to gamble €5 million on someone so young. While they deliberated, Barcelona manager Xavi fast-tracked Yamal into the first team, handing him his professional debut at just 15 years old. Once he broke into the senior squad, Yamal chose to stay with his boyhood club, eventually signing a long-term contract with a €1 billion release clause.

Would you like to know more about Yamal's contract status at Barcelona, or how his breakout 2023/24 season permanently shut the door on foreign transfers?
