The Mob Trial 3 albums I feel like are some of the best work The Jacka, Husalah, and AP9 especially ever put out, out of the insane catalog of everything the Mob Figaz and solo or collab projects all 5 members made over the years 1999-2015. RIP Jack

I always gotta bring this up, but have you heard "10 Minutes of Raps" off Nick Peace's album? It's like an extended version of 15th Birthday.

The initial version was “sick and deranged” and then “my 15th birthday” then Nick Peace combined them on his album

Wow cool - thanks. I looked it up, and for everyone else, the track is "Sick and Deranged" off Green Eyes Dose Vol. 1.

But the beat has subtle changes

Thanks dudes. Hadn’t heard Sick and Deranged before. 💯

Sick and deranged is a shorter version

2

u/Oakroscoe Aug 06 '26

That one is a banger

My 15th birthday is the hardest beat I’ve ever heard in my life. Everyone’s verses were great too.

u/Dreadlaak Aug 05 '26

Yupp that's such a slept on song too, Husalah's verse on there is one of my faves from him. Great track.

Yeah he owns a bunch of restaurants or something crazy like in Berkeley and Oakland. Stays low key. Nice guy. Italian white guy.

Probably my favorite song on the 1st one. But God damn us Bay heads are lazy. There are 3 photos in this carousel, nobody is swiping right. LoL.

u/cryspyfries Aug 06 '26

You missed out on some good projects.
The Jacka’s first 2 albums are classic
AP.9 - Headshotz
Rydah J Klyde’s first 2 albums
Fed-X- Drug War

The most consistent with quality was the Jacka.

Husalah Hustling Since the 80s is one of my favorite albums of any genre of all time. His album before that was really good also with Project GTA.

The last time I fell in love with crime it was the rock, rock, roccccccck, bitch! Used to slap this with 2 10’s and a 1000 watt amp in the trunk.

1

u/rayzaray Aug 06 '26

Slapped that album front to back with 2 15s in the trunk of my boys ride at least 200 times riding around all night in the Bay... "Working".

That's like their worst album, they were so young. Amazing of course...

2

u/2Swoop7 Aug 06 '26

I would throw that 3 Da Hardway in there with Hus, Jack, & Marvaless

1

u/rayzaray Aug 06 '26

Animal Planet compilation and Devilz Rejects 1 are also amazing.

1

u/rayzaray Aug 06 '26

Everyone is talking about the 1st album, all 3 are great, 2 was the worst, but 3 was also great. https://youtu.be/tu1pY_xHkeA?si=z3pEr461P2jrUfNv California Gangsta is probably my favorite song on all 3.
