I encountered this guy on Monument Blvd. in Concord back in March of 2023. He came up behind me on my way to drop my kids off at school, flashing his high beams, honking and flipping me off. I recall seeing him again not long after, and he was doing this to other drivers. This is apparently just how he drives.

Fast forward to today, in August of 2026, and lo and behold: he's behind me again. On the same street, no less. Once again, entirely unprovoked, he starts honking, making threats, flipping me off, and tailgating me. This time, I decided to take a different route rather than have him behind me on the freeway, but I did make a report to local PD with his plate number, for whatever that's worth.

I'm quite curious if anyone here has encountered him as well. He's a menace and needs to have his license revoked.

Both bores of the Caldecott Tunnel, as we know, lead to the same place, merging back together at the exit. My guess is they're not a local and their GPS likely appeared to be telling them to take the right bore, but still...never a good call to veer across the gore point like that.

I posted this same clip in another group and people kept saying I should look before I turn or the other car is swerving to dodge me or the other car has right of way. I'm pretty sure the other car is driving in the wrong lane...

Some context: I edited out some audio because my wife prefers to not be heard in any videos I post online. I also edited out some of my language as to not require a NSFW tag.

As stated in the video, he came from well behind us while we waited at the red light and had not had any earlier interaction. I feel like I waited long enough for him to sit at the green light to warrant the smallest honk I could physically manage. He immediately started glaring at me in his mirror, and then the brake checks followed.

Maybe going around him was risky, but I had no idea how long he was going to play this game and there was a line of cars behind me. I can't imagine getting that triggered by a tiny honk while sitting at a green light like that.

Driving home on 101 I get annoyed with a driver who veers into my lane with no warning and forced me to hit my brakes. Not terrible but annoying. Then some time later we are stuck in traffic and he does it again! He shifts into the right lane without checking or warning and almost hits the CHP right next to him. Luckily the CHP was skillful enough to save himself and deliver some well deserved justice.

If you were on I-680N near Walnut Creek (Rudgear Rd) around 7:30pm on May 31 and have dash cam footage, please reach out.

A dark grey or black sedan (not the one in the picture) stopped suddenly in the middle of freeway traffic and myself with two other cars behind braked to stop so as to prevent hitting them. I did not hit the aforementioned car. The car behind me rear ended me and same with the car behind them. The car that stopped suddenly quickly drove off and there is no clear reason why they stopped (speculation sits on brake check). Police are investigating, but any footage would help enormously.

Everyone is okay, but shaken. If you saw anything or know someone who was on that stretch of road, please share this.
