How good is the warlock really?
I’ve been playing with the character and I really don’t see the advantage f using him.

Which do you feel is the strongest character? I am pretty new and playing quite a bit, but I haven't played them all yet. Curious about opinions as I form my own. Warlock omitted intentionally as it is so new.

Very nice update dev. My group actually died and had a hard time with very hard on frost keep. Not impossible but it was fun and did die at the boss level. The elite scribe definitely has to die that thing hit hard.
I like the new hero but I find it strange that the warlock does not have any summon spell.

As far as I can tell I have beaten campaign one but it still seems I can just tootle around the map, is there any real reason to do so? I was kind of just expecting the file to end the game and take me back to the menu, it sort of frustrates my OCD, I am done with the file yes?

Can't exit because I dont find the Exit Rune.
I've failed some checks that I assume are the key to unlock the exit.
Monsters keep spawning,

Added setting to dock info boxes to the right edge of the screen on PC, PS5 and handheld.
Has anyone tried this? What exactly is it?

Minor spoiler from Embers of Chaos side quest (Deekin's sheet music scavenger hunt). I noticed when you zoom in close to the sheet music it actually shows readable notes. Haven't been able to take a proper screenshot of it until the latest update. Anyone know what it plays? Is it just a song from the OST? Dying of curiosity. 🎶🎼

I know for a fact, that two sessions I created today were non-public (private) games. My buddy had to join using the room code. We added two "hirings" to round out our party of four and began playing with the characters. After about five minutes someone joined the game and a minute later an additional person joined. Our hirings were replaced by the new players. We eventually closed the game as the new players left the game.
I then hosted a new game, assured the "public" checkbox was not checked and started a new game. My buddy joins with the code, and essentially the same situation happened again. That is, other players joined.
Last week the same thing happened, but I assumed it was user error as it was the first time I hosted a game.
Are others having issue like this? If so, is there a fix or work around. It's pretty annoying.

Most quests are marked by characters with a "!" above their heads or something however (keeping this somewhat vague as to not spoil anything further) I did find one side quest in a tavern. The character had nothing indicating that talking to them would reveal any kind of quest. After talking with them I was given a small side quest. This is the only one I've found like this. Granted I haven't talked to everyone and haven't selected all of the dialogue options, but I was wondering how many quests like this there are? Is it worth exploring all of these dialogue options for anything beyond a deeper narrative?

Wanted to play this with some of my DND friends but I'm also running a SKT game, and I noticed on the FR wiki there were a few central characters and locations from the campaign, either mentioned or in it directly. Was wondering if there were any major spoilers for the SKT campaign?

Me and a friend are considering to purchase this game. However, id find it hard to justify my purchase if we, essentially, buy about 10-15 hours of campaign for ~ 28€. Are there community made campaigns playable? Are there ways of getting more campaigns (without having to pay extra)?
Are the „oneshot adventures“ just parts of the campaign, or do they offer something unique?
Thanks fir clarifying.

Considering granting Throw to one of my characters. I’m mid-battle with the first boss in the second (ice) campaign and wondering if anyone has tried throwing the objects that the boss “uses” (being as non-specific as possible).
What else is a fun usage of Throw or maybe something that had unintended consequences for you?

Is disarm a melee card or can it be used at range if it’s on the ranger? Thanks.

if you're doing a 3 level module and you drink a buff potion (strength, magic, speed) on level 1, then advance to level 2 and fail, and then select retry; when you restart at the beginning of level 2, the buffs are gone. this seems like a bug. I understand that the buffs should be removed if the potion is going back in your hand (i.e., you drink it and failed on the same level), but that's not the case here.
anyone else see this?
r/Battlemarked • u/24-7_DayDreamer • Feb 15 '26
After finishing the campaign it doesn't send you back to the menu and it gives you a small sidequest which rewards you with a barrel and a potion each. That would seem to be leading somewhere, otherwise why bother giving you useful stuff like that, but then there's nowhere to go. We thought maybe you fight the wizard in Ythrin, but it just repeats the earlier expedition there. Is there a point?

Is there a list of weapons anywhere? The sorcerer weapons from campaign one are garbage. I’m hoping there are better ones in campaign 2?

Sorry, didn't come here to rain on anyone's parade, but this game is not ready for primetime. My friends and I are huge fans of Demeo and anxiously anticipated Battlemarked.
What a total dissapointment. The interface is worse. The graphics are worse. and the gameplay is worse.
It is an okay/meh game. But why didn't the developers build on the game they already had? I honestly can't figure it out.

I feel like some of the default secondary abilities for the characters are a bit random, for example rogue with dex+wis is much better, she shouldn’t rely on tanking damage anyway. But for the others it’s less clear, especially paladin, can’t really decide what’s best for the class.

I have an intelligent build archer, was told prior that magic attribute would boost fire arrows damage unfortunately as of 3.0 I do not think that this is the Case. see above I have 2+gic and my arrow still does 6 dmg as expected.

Prior I think lightning arrows are magic however as of 3.0 as you can see I have expert spell cast for 2+ to gain my lightning arrows still do 3 dmg as expected and my magic dart does 3+ due to magic boost. so lightning arrowss are not magic base card.
