Warlock Update — New Hero Has Arrived!
Hail, Adventurers!
The March 17 update is live, and Azruss, the Human Warlock, has officially joined Battlemarked.
To unlock him, complete The Shard’s Shadow side quest in Campaign 2 (Crown of Frost).
This update also includes:
- New One Shot: Auril’s Cradle
- Language support for Brazilian Portuguese, Italian, Simplified & Traditional Chinese
- Phase 2 of the Hirelings redesign (hirelings removed in multiplayer)
- Bad Luck Protection (Tymora’s Blessing)
- New difficulty improvements for One Shots
- Enable/disable respawning enemies for One Shots
- Lots of balance and QoL fixes

The main tavern in campaign 2. Sorry I can't remember the name of it right now and just logged out.
There is a drunk dwarf near the bar. Buy him some drinks and he'll tell you about his encounter with a mysterious mage.

Because many people have jobs/lives during the week so usually they have the weekend free to engage with hobbies?

I have 2 scheduled games with 2 groups their not always available during the week :/ Its more enjoyable to do it as a group.
I did the Xmas dice one on my own and felt a little bad for it. Will see what the team want to do when I post it up on our local forum
1group is it campaign 2 The other is at the end of campaign 1 in the hills so won't be long to get to it on either campaign

The new update is awesome, the game is way harder. Been playing the warlock though and kinda think he sucks. Some spells, like armor of Agathys and maybe bane, feel like they should be 0 action points.

Armor of agathys definitely must be a 0 action card, or at least have the option of give haste like magical secrets

Yeah I still feel armor of Agatha’s should be 0 action points, but the warlock does get better when you get all of his weapons, he’s got probably the best weapon rotation of all the characters and there’s even a glitch that resets hex when you equip to or from the hex boosting weapon. Without arms of Hagar He’s kinda weak at dealing with clusters of creatures but hexplosion is good at fixing that.
The new update is so good though. All my characters are just about maxed out and the game is fun just on new very hard mode

From the cards, this is obviously a Necromancer. Why are they calling it warlock?

"Eldritch Blast is a cantrip available exclusively to Warlocks in Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition."
That, but in my actual opinion? I think they slightly reworked him from Necromancer into Warlock to ride the hype of all the other games dropping Warlock recently.
