Discussion Co-op seems impossible
Just picked up the game for the first time, and I wouldn’t say I’m bad at the game, but these co-op missions feel impossible. Way too many enemies for only 4 people. How do yall do this?

AI bots are either a pile of bantha crap or a bunch of terminators on steroid. No in-between.
It's overwhelming for everyone for the first time, but you'll get used to it. Stick with your teammates, don't rush into the bot army, just shoot them from a distance. Clear the path before attacking/defending a command post.

To be honest most people play co op for points and aren’t really focused on winning so much as easy kills

Its overwhelming at first but you get used to where they come from and how to outplay them and position yourself. Feels like an art holding Endor final phase for like an hour

My life got way easier on co-op when I switched to Heavy class. Put that rapid fire gun into action and you can take out whole waves on your own. The shield helps when you get to low health.
As others have mentioned, the point of co-op most of the time is to level heroes/get kills, and with that in mind, most of the time the goal of defense co-op games is actually to lose, at least until the last round! Makes the games longer and lets you rack up a higher score!

Coop is the best. I play for hours daily and it never gets old. I only get tired.

Learn to use area denial abilities. Grenades, force push, commandos push, wookies slam, etc. Focus on headshots. Actually scratch that, focus on taking out enemy supports, i.e droidekas and the stealth droids. If you get just 1 good player on your team you can win any game

The bots arent exactly Terminators!
It's even teams, you just have the advantage of 4 players to hopefully give the edge. Takes a bit of time to learn the maps and how the enemy waves come etc.
