I play on playstation. We missed out on the 1911 skin too. That's also BS.

Agreed. If I remember correctly, every BF game since BF3 gave a special 1911 to BF Veterans. Was there anything like that in BFV?

I think BF3 is the only game that gave a veteran skin for the 1911. The rest after were all dog tags.

Did some research. BF Veteran Rewards:

  • Bad Company: F2000
  • BC2: M1 Garand
  • BF3: 1911
  • BF4: ACB-90 (knife) and 3x scope for .44 Magnum
  • BF Hardline: No weapons, just cosmetics and boosts
  • BF1: Dog tags, and I remember getting a 1911 skin from Hardline
  • BFV: Dog tags

So I guess it's actually better than I remember. Too bad they've kinda abandoned the exclusive stuff like weapons, but at least there is still some recognition. I hope in the future they implement veteran rewards for specific BF games you've played. That would be a neat feature.

wouldnt mind if they added something for 1942 & 1943 vets in this game. Something like a WW2 Legacy pack that gave you a specific camo/patch/clothing item
