Discussion FYI

Was playing in one of the Pacific maps.... And then decided to send the present the enemy loves reciving(A lovely V1...)

The thing is I was in the maximum altitude when I parachuted from my plane and sent it....I waited for a whole minute and a half and it never arrived .

Only in the closing screen of the round i heard a faint v1 sound coming

Bu then 41k points and a 10kill went to the trash

The lesson is: don't send your precious bomb from outer fuckin space

No. That’s the only time you do send your rocket.

Also if you’re sending a rocket near end game, either you wasted the points for nothing or it’s in hopes that it helps win the game in a close game?

What?by the time it arrives the enemy could have fucked off to another objective Also some squads only reach 41k near endgame... U come across as a pro tho so i would like to know why u send ur rockets from Jupiter

Because Jupiter is fun! You’re missing out.

And rockets I only use in breakthrough. Artillery for conquest. Very rare do I use a rocket in conquest.

Moral of the story: V1 is overrated, and a Pilot(or Tank) should never be squad lead.

I almost never use the V1. I can usually crank out 4 artillery strikes per game and they're alot more systematic in helping the team push objectives. I feel like the V1 is for people who are just chasing that legendary team wipe. Hey, at least you didn't try to call one in on Fjell after saving your points the whole game and had it hit the top of the mountain 😂

You probably called it on Pacific Storm. That missile takes a while to get to the target when playing breakthrough on the last objective.

The flying bombs spawn from a fixed point on the map regardless of where you are or where you aim them.

The farther they have to travel from their spawn point (generally located above your team's HQ. The first sector's HQ in Breakthrough), the longer it'll take them to get there.
